"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; he that wins souls is wise" Proverbs 11:30.
A right outlook gives the right impression. This is what this book sets out to achieve; not just for the fun of dressing but also for making significant impact on the society as everyone of us make impact on some people in our environment whether we know it or not. Making impact is sometimes a silent revolution that gathers itself slowly without anyone noticing such until it turns into a sporadic outburst when the opportunity for it comes. There are both positive and negative impacts and every one of us is responsible for one impact or the other. No one is against you wearing what will add to your beauty, that which will give you confidence and make you desirable to the opposite sex, in terms of carriage and elegance. We all love to be appreciated in one way or the other. God is not against such. Holiness is not drabness, holiness is glory. Glory is what good dressing habits exemplify, and this is first of all internal before such is seen externally through your dressing.
The opening scripture is about lifestyle evangelism. Your physical outlook gives the first impression of who you are without you speaking; evidence before information. The clothes you wear the accessories you put on; your painted nails, eye lashes, eye shadow, and the style of your shoes gives everyone who looks at you an opinion of you. You may decide to 'dress-to-kill', yet nobody will die, and instead of you killing somebody you may end up killing yourself. If the vibes you pass out are wrong, you end up with negative remarks and uncomplimentary thoughts in the mind of those who see you on a daily basis.
The Christian's physical outlook is something that touches the heartbeat of God, and He would want every Christian to be well informed about His will hence the writing of this book. Thus, I would want every reader of this book to have an open mind, for this book is devoid of any denominational leanings or personal opinions but is strictly dependent upon God's will.
