"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God, when shall I come and appear before God." Psalm 42:1-2.
This Book: Power Purity and Perfection shows you how you can grow and mature into Christ without denominational and human legalities and limitations. How you can be a perfect Christian from the day you got saved and thus maintain a steady growth spiritually, and physically. It gives you a good analysis of a balanced Christian life lived on earth and assured of a home in heaven at the end of your time. Not only would you have lived an approved life, but also your achievements on earth will endure after you. Perfection begins in you with a deep hunger and thirst for God and the things of God, you just desire to do His will no matter what it will cost you, and you will go to any length to achieve your aim. This gets God interested in you and as long as you continue to obey Him there's no end to your growth and also to how you will be used by God.
Perfection is not of man but of God. So whoever wishes to aspire towards perfection should not look to the other Christian but toward Jesus; He should be the role model. So many Christians don't want to aspire to perfection, many claim that they are not encouraged by what they see of the character of the so-called superman of God, or the other Christian whom they look up to, so they feel satisfied in the state they are; low spirituality. This is simply a lame excuse which would not be tenable before God on the Judgment Day, for every man will be asked what he did with the truth that was made available to him. How well he practiced it and made it evident in his life, not just how well he heard. That you don't want to go deep in the things of God is a decision from your heart, not a limitation from the other man's character.
Life is a process, consecration is the bedrock of that process, and the realization of the sovereignty of God and your submission to Him is the starting point of that consecration. When you begin to love what God loves and hate what God hates, perfection has begun in you, it only need to grow. The last chapter; The Christian and Enduring Legacies: is simply to make you to still continue in your aspiration to be the perfect man that you have become, never to think you have attained. Perfection isn't a one-time achievement, but an all-time attainment. You change from glory to glory; and glory never ends. This is the work of the Holy Spirit and it is a continued work until the perfect day. "The path of the just is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day." Proverbs 4:18.
