PERFECT SERVICE

In ministry, it’s not about being called as a full time or a part time minister, it’s all about making your calling and election sure; 2Peter 1:10; and then rendering an acceptable service in the perfect will of God; Romans 12:1-2. God does not have a greater reward for the full time minister than that for the part time minister; His just reward is measured out according to the fulfilling of His perfect will. There are different callings, different assignments, different destinies, but one goal; making disciples, making heaven and having just rewards on the last day.

The Holy Spirit is one, and is the same in every man who has received the baptism and the filling of the Holy Spirit; His breath in you is for your own assignment, not for any other assignment. How you were baptized isn’t what matters, but how and to what extent you put the power to use. Your conviction of His power in you, your exercise of that power, your purpose in life and grace differentiates the level of your performance, and your destiny from the other anointed man.

Let him who is like Samuel not despise him who is like Paul and think he deserves something greater from God than that given to the Pauls and then make a force of it: nor should the Pauls gloat over their exploits and think the Samuels deserve what they get for lack of venture. The Samuels should be grateful for the power that kept them whole, and the Pauls should be grateful for the power that redeemed them. Without that power the Samuels can overstep to the other side and get ruined for life and the Pauls may stay whole and not make any meaning out of their lives, which make purpose undiscovered and therefore unachievable. Every man may be born the same way but our different assignments in life determine the course of our lives and the path to achieving our destinies.

Go on, do what you are called to do because the world is earnestly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God; one of whom you are; Romans 8:19.

HAVE A GODLITOUCH ON YOUR LIFE.

  1. Nice post--we're all member of the same body but with different gifts and talents. I'm always amazed to see how God uses different people in such different ways. We had a young working mother speak this morning at our service about why she gives so generously to different charities, and I was so impressed not just by what she said but also by the wonderful way she said what she said. I could never do what she did, but I love to teach and I love to write books for children. Each of us serves God in our own way using our own special gifts and I think He's very pleased when He sees a cooperative spirit rather than a competitive spirit. Enjoy your blog and I'll be back!
